SSIU 2013: International Summer School "Information and Uncertainty"

SSIU 2013 brought together researchers in the areas of information and uncertainty to present recent results and discuss current and future research directions. Of a particular interest to both events are fuzzy logic, veristic uncertainty, probabilistic uncertainty, uncertainty measures, rough sets, and their applications.
The Summer School consisted of series of tutorial-like talks by internationally recognized experts and thus was particularly suitable for young researchers including doctoral students. The areas covered by the tutorials include historical developments of fuzzy logic, related logics, information measures, games and capacities, foundations and applications of rough sets, and spatial reasoning. The list of speakers includes A. G. Bronevich, P. Cintula, I. Duentsch, G. Gerla, S. Gottwald, M. Grabish, A. Skowron, D. Slezak and N. J. J. Smith..
